MISCELLANEOUS NOTES & COMMENTS

- This was not our first trip to this meet. We have been to this meet twice
previously, when it was held at Ridgewood High School. This was the first time
it was held at Ramsey High School, which has a brand new facility.
- Weather conditions were miserable and obviously had a significant negative
impact on performance.
- Event winners included:
- Mike Alleman, John Badala, and Jon Birnbaum in the Boys' Shot Put
- Tom Pennella, Jason Zelesnik, and Larry Dent in the Boys' High Jump.
- Kyle Rowbotham, Tom Pennella, and Cherv in the Boys' 3 x 400 IH
- Cassy Valdes, Danielle Vena, Kim Appezzato, and Brittney Veeck in the Girls'
Distance Medley Relay (by a resounding margin of 57.2 seconds with no
one pushing them right from the start, just missing the school record)
- Sarah Canfield, Tina Olsson, and Amanda Bobyack in the Girls' Long Jump
