MISCELLANEOUS NOTES & COMMENTS

- It was unseasonably warm for this meet. Temperatures pushed into the high
70's, which is much warmer than it has been as of late. The high temperatures
had a detrimental effect on performances.
- The girls' Distance Medley Relay team of Cassy Valdes, Danielle Vena, Kim
Appezzato, and Brittney Veeck broke the school record in the event with a time
of 12:44.0 in placing second to Colts Neck.
- The boys' Sprint Medley Relay team of Kyle Rowbotham, Kyle Grizzard, Mike
Katz, and Adam Biner met their goal of running 3:35 to qualify for Nike Outdoor
Nationals.
- Event winners included:
- Girls' Long Jump (Amanda Bobyack and Sarah Canfield) - a PR for Amanda
- Boys' Discus (Mike Alleman and Jason Boff)
- Girls' Shot Put (Erin Rossi and Lauryn Adams) - a PR for Erin
- Boys' Shot Put (Mike Alleman and John Badala) - Badala breaks 50' for the
first time ever
- Girls' Discus (Lauryn Adams and Erin Rossi)
