MISCELLANEOUS NOTES & COMMENTS
  • The boys' Top 5 Average of 17:56 was our seventh fastest on this course since
the start of the 1997 season.  It was 14.7 seconds faster than our average in
last year's Stewart Memorial Invitational and our fastest over that time period
in this meet.  All faster average times were run in the NJSIAA North II Group III
    State Sectional Championship.
  • The girls competed without Kathleen Leeper, who was held out of the meet for
precautionary reasons.  Chana Biner was out due to illness.  This left us with
only five runners in the race.
  • The boys' team had course PR's from Alex Parker (43 seconds), Brandon
Wheeler (23 seconds), Kyle Mahoney (2 minutes, 13 seconds), Greg Favreau
(54 seconds), Vid Malik (2 minutes, 30 seconds), and Mike Pesin (12 seconds).
Jeff Marks and Jon Miksis were making their Warinanco Park Championship
    Course debuts.
  • Parker moved to #9 and Wheeler to a tie for #12 on the All-Koegel List for this
course.  Mahoney got his name on the list for the first time at #23.
  • Laura Bruce ran a 24-second course PR.  All other girls were racing for the first
    time on this course.
  • Bruce's time of 21:24 moved her to #8 on the All-Koegel List for this course.  Ali
Pearl's time of 21:32 led to a debut at #9 on that list.
