MISCELLANEOUS NOTES & COMMENTS

- This was the first ever Union County Conference Divisional Championship meet.
- Teams in the Watchung Division are Scotch Plains-Fanwood, Westfield,
Elizabeth, Linden, Plainfield, and Union.
- Kathleen Leeper captured the girls' Watchung Division individual championship,
running a PR time of 20:24. Since this is the first year of the Union County
Conference Watchung Division Championship, her time establishes the
divisional championship record. Her time also moved her to fifth on the All-
Koegel List for the Warinanco Park Dual Meet Course.
- Ali Pearl and Laura Bruce crossed the finish line in third and fourth, respectively,
taking the second and third places in the team scoring. Both ran substantial
PR's.
- Kaitlyn Magnus and Lauren Williams also ran big PR's for the girls.
- This was the first time we ever took the top three scoring places in a
championship race, and the first time we placed three girls in the top four.
- Alex Parker led the boys with a fourth-place finish. His time of 16:54 was an 18-
second course PR.
- Vid Malik ran a huge PR to finish in 17:38, taking tenth place in the boys' race.
