Kathleen Leeper's time of 20:00 ties her for #2 on the All-Koegel List and establishes a new SPFHS junior class record for this course. Her fifth place finish made her the only individual qualifier for next week's Group III Championship coming out of the girls' race. This was her first time running the championship course at Warinanco Park.
The girls' team was once again not at full strength due to illness.
The boys' team qualified for the Group III Championship for the 11th time in the last 13 years.
Alex Parker led the boys' team with a sixth place finish.
Vid Malik's time of 17:36 was a 68-second course PR.
